VISION SCREENER
Serving the heart of Western Pennsylvania, the Leechburg-Gilpin Lions is excited to be able to offer FREE vision screenings to anyone of any age, including babies! Through the Richard G. and Barbara A. Snyder General Charitable Fund of the Community Foundation, the Leechburg-Gilpin Lions partnered up with other local clubs to purchase a Spot Vision Screener.

The Spot Vision Screener is a hand-held device designed to identify vision issues you may not be aware exist. The non-invasive quick screening is done in a dark area where the pupils have the opportunity to naturally dilate. Personal information such as the person’s gender and age is entered into the device and then the eyes are aligned with the screen. Once the reading is taken the results are immediately available for printing. A Bluetooth enabled printer shares the results for review. The results can then be used to identify any areas of concern. Results can also be taken to an eye doctor as a recommendation.
Spot Vision Screenings are provided by the club FREE of charge!! Check back for upcoming dates, locations and times screenings are available.
