Challenge yourself at the 4th annual Leechburg-Gilpin Lions Club Race to Revitalize 5K & 10K. Both events will begin in the beautiful Leechburg Area Community Park as music from SheaDesignStudio gets everyone pumped up!

​

The 5K runner and walker course will loop the outskirts of the park and Christ the King parking lot twice. 

10K runners will be lead by police escort around the park, past Christ the King Church and out to Rt. 66. Traveling Rt. 66 north, runners will enjoy an all asphalt course out to Forks Church, past Lingrow Farm, down Godfrey Rd. and back to Rt. 66 looping back to the park.

 

In true Western, PA fashion, the 10K course will test endurance through the rolling hills and scenic fall foliage. Stick around after the race to enjoy food, crafters and more at the Pumpkin Fest until 5:00PM.

Through this event, the our club was able to donate $3,000 to the Gilpin-Leechburg Park and Recreation Association in 2015 toward park revitalization.
